4:30pm on Monday, August 31, 2026.

No applications for the Housing Choice Voucher /Section 8 program will be accepted after the date listed above.

The Low Income Public Housing Wait list will remain open. Applications for low income public housing can be picked up at our office on 4 Howard Street Poughkeepsie, NY or printed from our website.

When the determination has been made to reopen the wait list for Section 8, a public notice will be posted. Visit the Housing Authority’s website for additional information or to apply for Low Income Public Housing.
