NOTICE OF WITHDRAWL OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP NO. 26-003)

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Request for Proposals for Professional Insurance Brokerage Services, RFP No. 26-003, issued by the Poughkeepsie Housing Authority on October 5, 2026, with a response date of November 4, 2026, is hereby WITHDRAWN AND CANCELED, effective immediately.

Following internal review, the Poughkeepsie Housing Authority has determined that an award for the requested insurances services was previously made under RFP No. 26-001, issued by the Poughkeepsie Housing Authority on January 29, 2026.

Prospective bidders are hereby instructed to cease all work on any potential proposals as no packages or submissions will be accepted, opened or reviewed.

Any proposals already received by the Authority prior to this notice will be returned to the sender unopened and/or securely deleted from the Authority’s electronic records.

The Poughkeepsie Housing Authority greatly appreciates the interest shown by potential bidders in response to RFP No. 26-003 and regrets any inconvenience the cancellation and withdrawal of this request for proposals may cause.  This procurement will be re-evaluated and re-solicited in the future, as required and in accordance with the Authority’s obligations under the law.  The Authority hopes you will maintain your interest and consider submitting a proposal at such time.

Pursuant to the terms of the RFP and the Poughkeepsie Housing Authority’s procurement policies, the Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any informalities, and cancel or withdraw a solicitation at any time where it has been determined that such actions will be in the best interest of the Authority.
